We are seeking a full-time, mid-level accounting clerk for the Finance Department who will assist with general ledger account reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. This is a limited engagement position, running from mid-March through September. Main duties include: daily processing of receipts; process and mail A/R collections letters; process weekly A/P invoices; print and mail payment checks for two organizations; maintain, scan and file correspondence for department; and assist in credit card reconciliation. Minimum requirements: associate or bachelor?s degree with 3-5 years of accounting experience, strong analytical skills, typing/keyboarding of 50+ wpm. Must have a solid understanding of accounting principles, possess intermediate computer skills and have excellent office administrative skills. Ideal candidates will be detail and task oriented, organized, self-starting and inquisitive. Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and be able to function in a fast-paced environment with changing and/or multiple priorities.
