JOB DESCRIPTION:
It is the primary responsibility of the Inventory Control Clerk to oversee the checkpoint area as well as data processing all requisitions and transfers. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Excalibur policies, practices, and procedures.
Specific Job Functions:
Works with the Executive Director, Food & Beverage, Warehouse Manager, Inventory Manager and all Outlets.
Maintains department files, completes office reports, and Data Processing.
Completes all Inventory Control Functions in Stratton Warren.
Secures and controls the keys.
Maintains a safe and clean environment.
Conducts cycle counts.
Notifies Manager and/or Security of all unusual events or circumstances, missing items, alleged thefts, and safety hazards.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Two (2) years previous experience working in an inventory control capacity.
Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations preferred.
Good working knowledge of computer software to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and/or the equivalent.
Manage multiple tasks, attention to detail, organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail with little or no supervision.
Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills, and basic math skills.
Must possess the physical stamina and proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside contacts.
Physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand various activities such as frequent walking, standing, bending.
Maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, 10-key adding machine, etc.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and carry it 5 feet.
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Communicate effectively in English both in oral and written form.
Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Excalibur standards.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High School diploma or equivalent.
