Description: Daily pickup of mail at Post Office and routine pickup and delivery of mail for office and interoffice mail. Daily mail receiving and document prep which includes opening, medical claims and correspondence for sorting, taking out staples or paper clips. Batching all documents based on type and procedure in preparation for document scanning. Assist with Return to Provider and misdirected mail. Assist with print functions, including individual requested letters, group or mass mailings. This includes print, fold, stuff and apply postage for mailing. Prepare documents and packages for shipment via Fed-X or UPS as required. Understanding of the U.S. Postal metering machines and procedures Cross train to all established functions within the Center. Operate on a “Clean Desk Daily” Policy Comply with all established Operating and Desk Top Procedures within the Document Management Center. Maintain a neat, organized work area. Technical & Behavioral Skills Requirements: Experience with Mailroom and printing equipment Fax, postage. The primary duties of the C.N.A. are to assist patients with activities of daily living and to provide for basic patient care needs and comfort. They may assist the nursing staff with the development of the patient care plan. The C.N.A. will demonstrate safe and competent nursing care, reflective of the philosophy and standards of Gritman Medical Center, following the guidelines and rules set forth by the Idaho State Board of Nursing, American Nurses' Association and the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. They will communicate effectively with other care givers and function as a member of the patient care team. They are directly accountable to the staff nurse and will report patient outcomes as appropriate. The C.N.A. will have and maintain adequate physical and mental health to meet job performance criteria. The C.N.A. will demonstrate a code of conduct reflective of Gritman Medical Center's mission, vision, and values.The Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) is responsible for all clerical functions on the patient care unit including answering telephones, taking messages, transcribing physician orders and entering them into GIS, preparing and maintaining medical records, and maintaining office supplies for the unit. They will communicate effectively with other care givers and function as a member of the patient care team. They are directly accountable to the professional patient care staff and will report patient findings and patient care orders as appropriate. The HUC will have and maintain adequate physical and mental health to meet job performance criteria. The HUC will demonstrate a code of conduct reflective of Gritman Medical Center's mission, vision, and values. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must have completed an approved nursing assistant course and have Idaho State Nursing Assistant certification on the State of Idaho nursing assistant registry. Will have and maintain Gritman Medical Center core C.N.A./HUC competencies assessments within 90 days of hire. Will have and maintain department specific required core competencies, education, experience and certifications as defined in the policies of each nursing unit. Ability to read and write in English and comprehend medical terminology.Must be certified and registered on the Idaho State Nursing Assistant registry and in good standing. Must have current Basic Life Support certification or obtain BLS certification at the next available class, as determined by the Department Director.
