Raytheon Polar Services is the primary contractor for the National Science Foundation's (NSF) Antarctic Program and we are currently seeking an Administrative Coordinator Sr. to work on a contract basis in the Deployment Support Group at our Centennial, CO, Office. This is a non-deploying contract that is expected to run through approximately March 31,2011.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for administrative support for the Deployment Specialists Group. Performs administrative functions; maintains Division/Department files and correspondence; handles confidential materials. Acquires and maintains a thorough and current knowledge of applicable RPSC policies and procedures.
Interfaces with personnel from the National Science Foundation, Grantees, RPSC employees, subcontractors, and other USAP participants by e-mail, telephone, and in person. Answers the DSG phone line.
Responsible for providing general administrative support to the Manager, Deployment Specialists Group.
Prepares monthly, quarterly and other required reports, and assists in preparing Annual Program Plans.
Performs necessary duties to support Division and Department personnel, including back-up support during personnel absences.
Collects, files, coordinates, actions, and distributes Division/Department incoming and outgoing correspondence, routing the same to internal/other Division/Department personnel for action as appropriate.
Maintains and controls files and manuals for policies/procedures and reports, and helps revise these documents as appropriate.
Provides assistance, advice, information, and training to employees as required. Division Point of Contact for Training and new employee assimilation.
Assists in coordinating DSG, Travel, and Population Management activities including those associated with maintenance of records, Personnel Information Form, Housing Request Forms, Hotel Requests, and the revision thereof - forms, procedures, and desktop instructions. Is identified as the Point of Contact for ISO compliance and forms/procedures.
Assists in activities associated with the Process Analysis Committee, Annual Planning Conference, Integrated Process Teams, UPT, and PTS.
Attends meetings and required, and maintains documentation/taskings resulting from meetings.
Provides back-up and assistance as necessary throughout the Division.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent is required. BA/BS degree preferred.
CERTIFICATION AND/OR LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: None Required. Certificate of completion of Microsoft office software training, to include Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint is preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
Four to six years of office management experience is required. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office software suite is required.

Contract compensation includes reimbursement of expenses to physically qualify, weekly salary, travel to and from the ice, room & board, and you are eligible for a performance based bonus upon successful completion of your contract.
