The right individual will: - function will in a fast-paced environment - be extremely computer literate (we are paperless, all client files are on the computer) - be able to multi-task - be detail oriented and have excellent time management skills - be familiar with Microsoft Office applications - especially Outlook - be familiar with some sort of online tracking system, scheduling, and task calendar - familiarity with software, such as Perfect Practice, HotDocs, FileSite, Deltaview, or the like (these are databases). - familiar working with databases - willing to take a computer literacy test ACM's do a majority of the leg work on the foreclosure process in preparing the client files for the Attorney's. We are experiencing a high volume workload, so need someone that can keep up! The training process is a long one, and it will take someone about 6 to 8 months to become familiar with our database and electronic case management filing system (Perfect Practice). The training process starts off slow in that you will learn that easiest aspects of the job first. Once those tasks are mastered, you then move on to the next task and then perform both, etc. and add more tasks as you learn the whole foreclosure process. In the beginning stages of the job there is a lot of data entry and updating the client files in our database. Once an individual becomes familiar with the foreclosure process and Perfect Practice, they will take on more ACM tasks. There are many aspects to this job. As mentioned above, we are paperless so we need someone who loves working on the computer. Internet research is also an aspect of this position. While there is no contact with the defendants, one will occasionally need to speak with various Clerks of Court offices. There are very few phone calls as most contact and communication with clients is done through email.
